AVID
AVID is a 4-year college preparatory elective class designed to assist students in improving their academic performance in high school and beyond, and also helping them create goals for college and career.
-
Ideally, students are part of AVID for all four years of high school, but sometimes students will take a year off, or will start AVID in 10th or 11th grade.
-
Each year of AVID counts as a ‘G’ College Elective.
-
The Mt. Eden AVID program is Highly Certified by the National AVID Board.
